Launching Applications

Bydefault,theProgramsviewoftheEnablerdisplaysthesoftwarepackagesthatareinstalled

onthemobiledeviceand/orshortcutstootherapplicationsonthemobiledevice.Tolaunchan

applicationfromtheProgramsviewoftheEnabler,double-clicktheshortcutortheiconfor

thesoftwarepackage.

Using Scan to Config

ScantoConfigallowsyoutouseaScanWedgeorscannerinterfacetorelaysettingstothe

Enablerbyscanningbarcodes.ToconfigurenetworksettingswithScantoConfig,createand

printbarcodescontainingtheinformation.BarcodesarecreatedusingtheAvalancheConsole.

FormoreinformationaboutcreatingtheScantoConfigbarcodes,refertotheuserguidefor

yourAvalancheConsole.

To use Scan to Config:

1 LaunchtheEnableronthemobiledevice.

2 TapFile > Scan Config.

TheScan Configurationdialogboxappears.

3 Ifthebarcodeswerecreatedusingapassword,enterthesamepasswordinthePasscode

textbox.

4 Usingthemobiledevice,scanthebarcodes.

TheRemainingtextboxdisplaysthenumbersofthebarcodesthatstillneedtobescanned.

TheScannedtextboxdisplaysthenumbersofbarcodesalreadyscanned.Forexample,if

youhave10barcodestoscanandyouhavescannedthefirsttwo,theScannedtextboxwill

display1,2andtheRemainingtextboxwilldisplay3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10.

Oncethebarcodesarescanned,themobiledeviceisconfiguredwiththesettingsfromthe

barcodes.
